Job Summary
Join our dedicated laboratory team and make a meaningful impact on patient care every day. Under the general direction of the Associate Client Services Manager and Phlebotomy Supervisor, the Phlebotomist plays a vital role in collecting high-quality blood specimens and ensuring accurate laboratory processing.
In this role, you will be responsible for performing blood draws on patients of all ages and entering laboratory requisitions into the Laboratory Information System with precision and attention to detail.
What You'll Do
  • Perform venipuncture and capillary collections for patients (pediatric through adult)
  • Accurately process and enter specimen requisitions into the laboratory computer system
  • Accurately register patients and enter orders into the Laboratory Information System (LIS)
  • Ensure proper labeling, handling, and transport of specimens
  • Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care during all interactions
  • Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and confidentiality standards
  • Adapt to changing priorities and support coverage at multiple locations as needed
What We're Looking For
Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Completion of an accredited Phlebotomy Training Program preferred
Experience
  • At least 1 year of phlebotomy experience strongly preferred
  • Experience working with both pediatric and adult patients preferred
Licensure/Certification
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred
