Job Title: DevOps Engineer

Location: Plano, TX (Hybrid โ€” 3 days/week onsite; only local candidates will be considered)

Company Overview
Our client is a leading multinational telecommunications technology company driving large-scale cloud modernization initiatives.

Project Description
Our client has an urgent need for a DevOps Engineer to automate and manage cloud deployments and support scalable, cloud-native systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Automate cloud deployments using Terraform and Ansible
  • Design and manage scalable CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps
  • Deploy and support microservices and containerized workloads using Kubernetes and Docker
  • Deploy and monitor Azure resources
  • Implement logging, monitoring, and observability solutions using Azure Log Analytics, Prometheus/Grafana, and OpenTelemetry
  • Optimize cloud-native systems and collaborate with Development, QA, and Operations teams to improve delivery and enforce standards

Mandatory Skills

  • Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
  • Experience with version control (Git/GitHub/GitLab)
  • Strong experience with Azure, Terraform, Ansible, and Azure DevOps
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate across Dev, QA, and Ops teams to enforce standards and streamline delivery
  • Familiarity with Azure Databricks, observability tools, agile methodologies, cloud governance, and security best practices
