We're looking for a Recruitment & Onboarding Specialist who is passionate about finding great talent, creating exceptional candidate experiences, and helping new employees begin successful careers with Goodwill.


Position Summary

The Recruitment & Onboarding Specialist manages the full-cycle recruitment and onboarding process for positions across all levels of the organization. This role partners closely with hiring managers to attract, interview, hire, and onboard talented employees while creating a positive experience for candidates from application through onboarding.


What You'll Do

  • Source and recruit qualified candidates through job boards, social media, career fairs, and community partnerships.
  • Screen applicants and conduct phone and in-person interviews.
  • Coordinate interviews and hiring activities with department leaders.
  • Prepare offer letters and oversee pre-employment requirements.
  • Facilitate New Hire Orientation and onboarding activities.
  • Maintain HR records and onboarding documentation.
  • Build relationships with candidates and community partners.
  • Recommend improvements to recruitment strategies and hiring processes.


What We're Looking For

  • Associate degree preferred.
  • 2-3 years of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or onboarding preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and recruiting best practices.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems, HRIS, and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to travel throughout our service area for recruiting events.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
