Position Overview


The Media Coordinator is responsible for assisting the media department in the planning, execution and deployment of client media campaigns. Responsibilities include creating media plans, crafting media reports, data entry tasks, media and market research, onboarding new clients, managing media specs, working with account executives to implement and maintain production timelines to coordinate with media plans, assisting with vendor bills, and other various client requests.


Job Requirements


  • Associate Degree, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 2-3 Years experience either at an agency or within an in-house team
  • Strong base of Media Planning/buying knowledge
  • Ability to work within time constraints and meet deadlines
  • Friendly, personable and comfortable interfacing with media vendors, clients, sales reps, and various internal team members
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong research skills and ability to self-manage when needed
  • Motivated and organized
  • Good multi-tasking and prioritizing skills
  • Local market planning and buying experience is a plus
  • Experience with the following software programs a plus: PowerPoint, Excel, InDesign, Strata, Vivix, and MRI


Reports To


  • Media Manager for all media planning, buying, reporting, training, research, guidance, and client questions
  • Media Director for all overarching questions and issues
  • Ongoing training and monthly meetings will be held to ensure that media strategists are achieving company objectives

 

Working Hours & Travel


  • This is a full-time position. While the role gravitates toward an in-office presence to facilitate collaboration, FMS embraces flexibility. Scheduled remote stints are welcomed.
