Position Overview: The Senior Manager, Lifecycle Marketing is responsible for leading strategy across onboarding and engagement, while leading lifecycle efforts focused on engaging new subscribers and reducing churn. This is a critical role in the Monumental+ Marketing team, responsible for shaping the customer journey from initial sign-up to active, engaged fandom. Do you have experience in marketing or media and have a passion for sports? We would love to hear from you! Responsibilities:
  • Assist with building strategies encouraging high-value engagement behaviors and retaining new subscribers at scale.
  • Lead strategy across onboarding and engagement, using Braze and Salesforce Marketing Cloud to deliver impactful, personalized messaging that cultivates healthy user behaviors and fandom habits.
  • Design and implement a comprehensive strategy to engage and retain new subscribers during their early tenure period.
  • Map high-value early behaviors and guide users to take those actions through personalized journeys and nudges.
  • Drive the development of journeys in Braze, using capabilities like push, in-app messages, and content cards.
  • Use Braze's advanced orchestration capabilities to develop sophisticated automations and testing strategies.
  • Ensure best practices in personalization, segmentation, and lifecycle orchestration.
  • Build and maintain a scalable testing roadmap to improve retention metrics.
  • Partner with Analytics and Data Science teams to track performance, evaluate incrementally, and share insights.
  • Increase relevancy and performance through culturally attuned messaging and campaign customization.
  • Oversee internal agency partners to support design and operations.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in CRM, Lifecycle Marketing, or Retention with strong exposure to early customer onboarding and engagement strategies.
  • 5+ years of experience in direct-to-consumer business.
  • Experience building strategies in improving retention and behavioral engagement.
  • Experience with Braze and/or Salesforce Marketing Cloud (or comparable orchestration platforms), including journey design, real-time triggers, and channel execution.
  • Expertise in transforming complex data into strategic insights that guide impactful decisions.
  • Expertise with A/B testing, multivariate testing, and experimentation methodologies.
  • Experience handling lifecycle marketing programs.
  • Experience managing internal and external agencies/vendors with a focus on creative and operational efficiency.
Pay Range: $80k - $90k USD. Benefit Eligibility: This role is eligible to participate in health and welfare benefits.
