Job description

Job Title: Legal Administrative Assistant

Location (city, state): Scottsdale, AZ

Compensation: Contract/Contract-to-Hire: $33 - $38/hour | Direct Hire: $70,000 - $80,000 annually (DOE)

Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of legal experience within a law firm environment; candidates with stronger experience may be considered.
  • Background supporting litigation matters, including experience with legal documents, pleadings, court filings, and case-related deadlines.
  • Experience managing attorney calendars, coordinating meetings, and handling legal correspondence.
  • Strong understanding of litigation procedures and ability to discuss prior litigation support experience.
  • Experience working with legal technology platforms such as Law Toolbox or similar docketing systems, NetDocuments or comparable document management systems, and Centerbase or similar software preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Associate degree or college coursework preferred; equivalent legal experience will also be considered.
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to prepare legal documents, correspondence, and internal materials.
