SUMMARY OF POSITION:
In this role you will support the planning operations for Customer orders. You will be expected to coordinate, manage inventory levels and communicate effectively with the team so orders can be completed by deadlines.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responsible for planning orders for Walmart
    • This may be subject to other customers such as target or Costco
  • Manage inventory levels and plan as many customer orders as possible based off the available inventory on hand.
    • Sometimes you will plan orders more than the 1 st go around in the event goods are delayed to the warehouse from the port.
  • Plan orders, print labels, and distribute orders to our processing team.
  • Monitor the production of orders. Keep track of orders have been completed, what's in process, and what has shipped.
  • Monitor the transit of Inbound containers such as container numbers, production POs, ASNs, ETAs to warehouse.
    • There is a log either already provided or a log you will create to track goods.
  • Communicate effectively with the manager and team of the department so we are all on the same page when it comes to a task.
    • Communicate any risks that are identified to the can be review and resolved.
  • Attend weekly meetings with sales team to provide updates on orders and etc.
  • Programs and tools you will be working with:
    • Excel, Word, email, WMS (Warehouse Management System), Movex, and Routing portals.
    • Laptop or desk top
    • Zebra printers
  • All other duties as discussed and assigned.

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
• Bilingual - Spanish
• Leadership skills to cross-train and guide associates in achieving goals
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills, ability to identify issues and implement efficient solutions.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks and meet goals
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS, PKMS)
• Excellent communication skills, email etiquette, and personnel skills to build relationships
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Shift at 4am, able to work OT (up to 10hrs), Saturdays, and Holidays
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
• Lifting, pushing, pulling or moving cartons up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand and walk continuously throughout most of the day
• Must be able to reach above head and bend below the knees all day
• Work in cooler and heated conditions based on the time of year
Salary Description
$19 - 24 /hr
