Salary Range: $65-70k plus commission bonus potential

Job Description:
The Lead Inside Sales Representative will lead an assigned team through the daily Inside Sales department activities to ensure sales orders are placed and fulfilled to exceed client expectations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Developing and growing relationships with new and existing customers by providing exceptional and timely customer service, understanding their buying history to suggest related items and explaining technical advantages between selections
  • Developing new sales and support strategies to achieve greater customer satisfaction and increase sales
  • Answering incoming phone calls, email requests, and manufacturer leads quickly and efficiently to provide quotations based on customer needs
  • Applies knowledge of the industry and products to accommodate the needs of clients
  • Accepting and processing orders from customers and arranging the purchase and delivery options with the supplier
  • Attend industry events and networking opportunities as needed or assigned by manager
  • Pursuing new potential opportunities to increase customer base or product base
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with our suppliers to enhance sales efforts and provide effective technical support to customers.
  • Developing awareness of competitors' product lines and pricing to understand our market positioning
  • Assisting other teams with project sales and support
  • Willingness to learn our suppliers' products and selection software for better understanding in making proper parts and equipment selections
  • Participating in ongoing educational opportunities
  • Meeting and exceeding the department and organizational goals by taking ownership of inside sales success
  • Aid warehouse operations as needed for such things as replenishing stock, pulling orders, or organizing the facility
  • Prepare reports, status of accounts, and leads as requested
  • Other duties as assigned

Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • There are no direct supervisory responsibilities, but the Lead Inside Sales Representative will be asked to:
    • Assist with hiring and training of team members.
    • Assist with overseeing the daily workflow, scheduling, and assignments of the assigned team.
    • Provide input to performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
    • Provide Analytic data to operations

Experience and Requirements:
Required Skills/Abilities
  • Ability to conduct business over the phone, via email and in person in a quick yet professional and courteous manner.
  • Proficiency with a PC, using various Microsoft Office 365 Office Suite Products, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Experience with Oracle: NetSuite ERP software, Power BI, & Revu: Bluebeam pdf editing software extremely desired
  • Ability to quickly learn web-based programs, specifically manufacturer and supplier ordering web-based applications
  • Demonstrates a collaborative, team-oriented mindset with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional Customer Satisfaction, Supporting Colleagues, and contributing to overall Financial Success.
  • Dependable, proactive, and detail-oriented
  • Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize
  • Enjoys high energy environment, and can be flexible and organized
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree preferred
  • At least five (5) years of related work experience required
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time, sit, stand, bend, stoop, and crawl.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
