Job Description Summary
Dauch is searching for an Industrial Engineer to join our team. This position will be based out of our Minerva, OH location.
A successful Industrial Engineer will be comfortable working directly on the production floor, takes initiave, and will identify improvement opportunities in real time.
Job Description:
  • Develop labor standards by analyzing work samples and methods; measuring work performance.
  • Improve labor utilization by studying work methods; testing modifications; designing new methods; recommending job restructuring.
  • Improve workflow by studying process flow charts; recommending modifications in workflow, work stations and product; developing new procedures; recommending equipment modifications and purchases.
  • Reduceswaste by studying methods, equipment, and operator techniques; recommending changes; identifying and analyzing waste.
  • Implement work improvement programs by conferring with management and engineering staff.
  • Prepare work-analysis information and reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends.
  • Complete work improvement projects by training and guiding operators and supervisors.
  • Maintain operations guidelines by writing and updating policies, procedures and methods.
  • Protect organization value by keeping information confidential; cautioning others regarding potential breaches.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Bachelors Degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience
1+ years experience in a manufacturing environment
