Job description

The Human Resources Coordinator provides on-site administrative and operational support to the Human Resources team. This role is primarily responsible for coordinating new hire orientations, supporting the onboarding process, assisting with the day-to-day management of staffing temporary associates, and providing general administrative support as needed. This position plays an important role in ensuring accuracy, organization, and confidentiality within HR operations.
The HR Coordinator will serve as a key point of contact for staffing agencies and will maintain consistent communication regarding staffing needs, attendance, new assignments, performance concerns, and associate status. This role requires strong organization, communication, follow-through, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
** This position will support our PA location 1-2 times a week **
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and facilitate new hire orientations for hourly warehouse associates, including full-time, part-time, and temporary associates
  • Serve as a primary on-site point of contact for temporary associates and employment agencies
  • Handle sensitive associate information with professionalism and discretion
  • Assist with routine HR projects and administrative tasks as assigned
  • Maintain frequent communication with staffing agencies regarding staffing needs, open positions, start dates, attendance, associate status, and other workforce-related matters
  • Coordinate the arrival and onboarding of associates and ensure they are properly directed to the appropriate department or training area
  • Assist operations and HR leadership with addressing temporary associate concerns, questions, and general workplace issues
  • Maintain accurate and confidential associate records, including onboarding and employment-related documentation
  • Perform other clerical or administrative duties based on business needs

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and move files or boxes up to 25 lbs. as needed

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 1-year of Human Resources, recruiting, staffing, or related experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with associates, staffing agencies, and site leadership
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow up on time-sensitive requests.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PDF tools
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with HR, operations teams and external staffing agencies
