Job description

Do you enjoy pampering others, so they feel relaxed and rejuvenated? Would you love to work in an environment of serenity, within a sea of smiling faces? Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa (http://www.handandstone-huntington.com/)  is a rapidly expanding day spa that provides an affordable luxury experience throughout our many locations across the US. We create a revitalizing experience for each guest that begins the instant they walk in the door – and that’s where you come in. As our new Spa Associate (Front Desk), you’ll be the face of this Hand & Stone location by providing outstanding customer service and attentive care that creates the foundation for an exceptional spa experience. This is a terrific opportunity to grow your career in the spa industry, while gaining valuable experience and skills from one of the most successful spa groups in America. About the role: You’ll be our front desk receptionist who takes great care of everyone who arrives. You’ll also help maintain and prepare the facilities and rooms for our guests, answer phone calls, respond to emails, and manage appointments. Strong administration and computer skills are crucial as you’ll be responsible for running a tight ship of appointments and scheduling with our staff. Sales will play a key part in your role here. Since our guests have such a wonderful experience, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to make a commission.  You’ll be a great fit for this role if you’re: Meticulous: you’re great with details, whether you’re scheduling or preparing rooms for our clients. Nothing gets past you. Independent: no one needs to be looking over your shoulder because you’ve always got an eye on the next task. You’re organized, and you use that skill in everything you do. Social: you love chatting with customers, getting to know them, and figuring out how our business can best suit their needs. A natural salesperson: you would enjoy encouraging people to pamper themselves. Energetic: your positivity and energy are contagious, setting a tone for clients and coworkers alike. People just love being around you. Working @ Hand and Stone: There are full-time, and part-time permanent positions available in Huntington and Babylon, with flexible hours depending on your needs. Working evenings, weekends, and holidays is required for this role. You'll earn an hourly pay rate commensurate with experience, plus commissions based on membership sales.
