Job Description Summary

Dauch is looking for a Financial Analyst to join our team in Three Rivers, MI. This is a fully onsite role.
This individual will support the Three Rivers Manufacturing Facility's accounting activities, including financial record keeping and reporting. They will maintain records of the facility's financial activity in accordance with GAAP, organizational standards, and in compliance with Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. They will also create reports on financial performance for internal and external use. This person will complete month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities related to foreign exchange, cash management, and tax, including preparing the appropriate audit work papers for such activities.
The ideal candidate has excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with a high level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others.

Job Description:

  • Responsible for general day-to-day reporting and accounting for Dauch's Three Rivers Manufacturing Facility (TRMF).

  • Generates and assures accuracy of month end close data including complete financial statement report, including preparation of journal entries, account analysis and balance sheet reconciliations.

  • Supports development of financial reporting requirements including use of corporate system to acquire and analyze transactional data and trends.

  • Assists in the development of the monthly forecast, annual budget, and semi-annual Five-Year Strategic Plan.

  • Assists operating departments in the analysis, communication and interpretation of operating and financial data.

  • Maintains frequent contact with others outside the work group.

  • All other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • 1-3 years of experience in accounting and/or finance in an automotive manufacturing environment preferred.

  • Understanding of financial systems.

  • Excellent computer skills; experienced with Microsoft Office, including strong knowledge of basic functions in Microsoft Excel.

  • Proven analytical ability and willingness to learn and adapt.
