The Leidos National Security Sector (NSS) combines technology-enabled services and mission software capabilities in the areas of cyber, logistics, security operations, and decision analytics to support our defense and intel customers' mission to defend against evolving threats around the world.

The National Security Sector (NSS) seeks highly qualified and trained Journeyman-level Graphics Artists to support United States Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM) operations through production of high-quality and high-visibility graphics underpinning critical visual communications to include briefings, documents, and web materials. As part of a collaborative team, candidates will conceptualize, design, and deliver visually compelling products that effectively communicate complex information in a professional, clear, and aesthetically pleasing manner.

This opportunity is in anticipation of a potential future contract award.

What you'll be doing:

  • Provide timely, accurate, relevant support in manner that best supports USCYBERCOM as graphics artist supporting multiple customers across the USCYERCOM J3, Cyber National Mission Force (CNMF), and Joint Task Force-ARES (JTF-ARES).
  • Design and produce high-quality graphic content using Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite products.
  • Develop visual concepts from start to finish with creativity and precision, while adhering to USCYBERCOM branding and presentation standards.
  • Collaborate with technical SMEs and leaders to transform complex information into clean, engaging visual content.
  • Provide expert recommendations and feedback on visual communication strategies to end users.
  • Format and revise subject matter for effective graphic presentation, including the selection of visual elements, layout design, and delivery formatting.
  • Design materials for internal and external communications, including documents, infographics, presentations, and web-based assets.
  • Contribute to the development of analytic standards and best practices, continuously improving methodologies and products.
  • Ensure compliance with DoD and USCYBERCOM policies, regulations, and frameworks, and interpret and apply laws, regulations, and any other applicable guidance relevant to daily activities.
  • Communicate complex information, concepts, or ideas in a confident and well-organized manner through verbal, written, and/or visual means.

What does Leidos need from me?

  • A currently active Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) security clearance with Polygraph is required for consideration.
  • Associate's degree or higher in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Multimedia Arts, or related field. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Three to Five plus years' experience in graphic design within a professional environment, with preference for previous experience supporting DoD or Intelligence Community (IC) organizations.
  • Ability to provide support timely, accurate, relevant graphics artist support to analytical production, to include documents, summaries, issue papers, talking points, and briefings.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of graphic design skills, especially in presentation graphics and executive-level content.
  • Knowledge of computer networking fundamentals as well as concepts, terminology, and operations of a wide range of communications media (computer and telephone networks, satellite, fiber, wireless).
  • Demonstrated understanding of formatting for classified and unclassified briefing environments.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to follow branding guidelines, and commitment to high visual standards.
  • Display excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to receive and apply feedback effectively.
  • Demonstrated proficiency working in a fast-paced collaborative environment, ability to proactively multi-task and meet short deadlines.

Favorable if you have:

  • Bachelors' degree or higher within field of Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Multimedia Arts, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with USCYBERCOM organizational structure and mission.
  • Experience designing for executive-level or military audiences.
  • Prior experience providing graphic design support to Joint operations across multiple warfighting domains.
  • Demonstrated understanding of DoD and IC collaboration and graphics design best practices.
  • Desired Certifications: DoD 8570 IAT Level II (CCNA Security, COMPTIA CySA+, COMPTIA Security + CE, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP).
