About The Role
As a Personal Banker, you'll serve as a trusted advisor, delivering friendly, expert service and tailored financial solutions to help members grow their financial wellbeing. You'll support a range of member banking needs-including account management, loans, and digital banking-in a collaborative, professional setting. Your efforts in community outreach will strengthen Arbor's presence and drive organizational growth.
Where You're Headed
Start your journey at Arbor as a Personal Banker and grow right where you are - Personal Banker II growth track promotions possible (with a pay increase). Personal Bankers often grow into Assistant Branch Managers and then onward to other leadership roles. The experience you'll gain also transfers well to roles in our lending or back-office teams.
What You'll Do
  • Build strong relationships with members to understand their financial needs and recommend appropriate products/services.
  • Open and maintain various account types and assist members with transactions, loan applications, and account inquiries, debit card replacements, online banking, and direct deposit letters
  • Engage in proactive outreach to strengthen Arbor's community presence and support organizational growth.
  • Educate and support members in using digital banking tools and services.
  • Resolve account issues and debit card disputes efficiently.
  • Support branch operations through clerical tasks, balancing duties, and audit participation.

Is This You?
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1 - 2 years' experience in banking/financial services
  • Strong communication/interpersonal, attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and basic computer operation
  • Professionalism in conduct, communication, and appearance
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities based on member needs
  • Ability to be bonded
  • Preferred But Not Required: Proficiency with Fiserv DNA; Associate or Bachelor's degree (business, finance, or related); Experience with lending; Financial products/services knowledge

Hours: Full-time (38 hours per week), with rotating Saturdays
