  • Location: Canteen - 2747 W. Grand Parkway North, Katy, TX 77449 Note: online applications accepted only.
  • Schedule: Full time schedule. Monday - Friday. 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. More details upon interview.
  • Requirement: Previous experience with Microsoft Excel. Previous administrative experience is preferred.
  • Fixed Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour

Job Summary
Job Summary
The Vending Data Analyst is responsible for optimizing vending machine service routes through effective scheduling, data analysis, and operational insights. This role combines route planning with in-depth data analysis to improve service levels, reduce costs, and enhance the experience of both customers and drivers. The analyst will translate vending, sales, and service data into actionable recommendations that support operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Route Scheduling & Optimization
• Build, maintain, and optimize daily and weekly vending service routes for drivers
• Balance service frequency, product demand, machine capacity, and geographic efficiency
• Adjust routes proactively based on sales trends, fill levels, service issues, and customer needs
• Partner with drivers, and managers to ensure routes are realistic and efficient
Data Analysis & Insights
• Analyze vending machine sales, product movement, service history, and inventory data
• Identify trends that impact route efficiency, customer satisfaction, and revenue
• Use data to recommend changes to route frequency, product mix, and machine servicing
• Investigate service issues and exceptions to identify root causes and corrective actions
Customer & Driver Support
• Provide data-driven insights to improve customer fill rates, product availability, and service consistency
• Support drivers by identifying time-saving opportunities, route improvements, and workload balance
• Act as a liaison between operations, customer service, and leadership using data-backed recommendations
Reporting & Continuous Improvement
• Create and maintain regular reports and dashboards for operational performance
• Track KPIs such as service frequency, out-of-stocks, route efficiency, miles driven, and labor utilization
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and pilot programs using data analysis
Required Qualifications
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actions
• Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis); experience with BI tools is a plus
• Comfortable working with large datasets and operational systems
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
