Analytics & Inventory Responsibilities:
  • Review inventory stocking and replenishment levels for all Northeast branches
  • Examine sales trends by item to identify potential lost business and optimize stocking levels
  • Review sales call reports vs. actual sales to evaluate ROI and identify gaps in customer engagement
  • Analyze high-volume items and support negotiations for improved supplier pricing
  • Identify customers who may qualify for improved contract levels with suppliers
  • Review stocking levels, inventory reports, and item movement at VMI accounts using Crib Management data exported into Excel
  • Prepare quarterly reports for VMI business reviews
  • Support cost savings master documentation
  • Update sales representative codes (in Excel) for open territories or personnel changes
  • Clean up and standardize call report formats for improved reporting and analysis

Qualifications of the Part-Time Data Analyst & VMI Support include, but are not limited to:
  • Excellent Excel skills (advanced-level proficiency required)
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines with urgency and accuracy
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities
