Job description

Job Duties: Associate, Sales Support with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in Salt Lake City, Utah. Database management: source, aggregate and manipulate multiple data stream to ensure institutional consultant databases are updated completely and accurately. Data querying and manipulation: query, organize, and manipulate large quantities sourced from internal and external databases. Complete adhoc data entry requests due to client demands. Coordinate with Public Investing Portfolio Managers and Institutional Sales to ensure all data is complete and accurate to suit client needs, necessary for inflow opportunities. Use information systems and Business Intelligence (BI) tools heavily to make the process more efficient and accurate. Conduct BI and data analytics for adhoc analyses to generate institutional sales leads and provide high quality insights to advisors and consultants.    

Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Data Science, Information Systems, Business or related field, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Prior experience must include two (2) years of experience with the following: technical understanding of data analysis and use of BI tools (Alteryx & Tableau) to manipulate and visualize data; project management including coordinating with multiple stakeholders to extract data from multiple resources, manipulate accordingly, and upload efficiently; data modeling to combine and organize large sets of data from multiple sources; reconciliation to identify the scope of issues and develop solutions to address each identified issue; communication across product, sales, management, compliance, controllers and other groups; and automating multiple processes and reporting needs, including data modelling, manipulation, and visualization. FINRA Series 7TO, 63, SIE required.
