This Work from Home position requires that you live and will perform the duties of the position; within 60 miles of an HCA Healthcare Hospital (Our hospitals are located in the following states: FL, GA, ID, KS, KY, MO, NV, NH, NC, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA).

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Associate Counsel works directly with Parallon Business Owners and Legal Team Members.

What you will do in this role:

  • Legal research and analysis of regulations, documents and policies
  • Review and negotiate effective resolution of assigned matters
  • Assist in development of policies and guidance
  • Serve as subject matter expert for designated area of responsibility
  • Identifying legal risks and developing proactive recommendations
  • Work with legal and business team members to support accurate and timely documentation of status on assigned matters
  • Other responsibilities and special projects as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor required
  • Minimum 5 years legal experience (experience in healthcare preferred).
  • License to practice law in good standing
