Associate, Content Financial Services
Job Summary
GLG Events provides unique, market-moving insights and perspectives on timely topics such as current events and market trends by leveraging the voices of the world's leading professionals. The Events team identifies, researches, and curates additive content across a variety of subject matter areas, which are turned into in-person or virtual meetings featuring industry experts.
We are seeking an Associate to support the team while gaining exposure to investment research, industry experts, and product creation. The role provides a substantial opportunity to make an impact and to develop professional skills within our growing Events business unit.
Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
  • Developing familiarity with companies across industries
  • Learning issues that drive investor interest
  • Research, using a variety of resources, to identify compelling topics
  • Forging relationships with industry professionals and investment analysts
  • Supporting multi-client in-person and virtual meetings
  • Conducting interviews of industry professionals and experts
  • Coordinating with internal partners

An ideal candidate will have the following:
  • 1-3 years of related professional experience in financial services or financial journalism
  • Interest in and knowledge of financial markets
  • Strong communication, presentation, and research skills
  • Entrepreneurial drive
  • Intellectual curiosity

Compensation: GLG is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Actual compensation is based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. Certain roles may also be eligible for incentive compensation.
The anticipated hiring base salary range for this role is:
$68,000-$70,000 USD
