This program immerses students into the daily operation of a contemporary media and technology company while working side-by-side with Comcast's top innovators. The student becomes an integral part of the Comcast team working on creative, innovative, and thought-provoking projects within various business units.
Software Engineers apply engineering concepts and principles to softwaredevelopment;for thepurposesof providing business solutions. They design, build, install, andmaintainthese applications/programs. Software Engineers use deductive reasoning to gather and interpret businessrequirements;supplied by product managers, business stakeholders, and other engineers.
In addition to theskillset, the Software Engineer bears the joint responsibility for code-basemaintenance. Often this involves making informed decisions about refactoring, tech debt, and "greenfield" engineering.
Exposure to Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning, and Data Modeling are desired, but by no meansrequired.

Compensation
Base Pay: $32.00
