City: West Lafayette
Job Description:
Job Summary
The Night Access Clerk will provide operational and clerical support for an assigned University Residence Hall. Responsible for providing a variety of services including office functions, operational support, and customer service, while working at the main desk area in a student-centered environment and prioritize responsibilities. Responsible for maintaining the highest level of customer service. This position will audit student keys, assist with mail and loaner cards, monitor doors for security issues, and triage facilities concerns. The Night Access Clerk will assist during student check-in and check-out process for academic programs and summer programs.
***Hours for this position 12:00am -8:00am.***
What We're Looking For:
  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • One year's experience in a clerical or administrative role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access)
  • Strong work standards and productivity, decision making and dependability.
  • Attention to detail and stress tolerance
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, telephone etiquette, organizational and customer support.
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals from different viewpoints and backgrounds utilizing the Student Life mission and teamwork in daily work activity.
