Job description

At Express Employment International we're recruiting for a Business Intelligence Analyst to turn data into actionable insights that drive business performance and decision-making. This role partners with business leaders and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, measure results, and deliver analytics solutions that support strategic objectives.
The Business Intelligence Analyst develops reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) that provide visibility into business performance and enable informed decision-making. By translating business needs into meaningful data solutions, this role helps stakeholders uncover trends, improve outcomes, and drive continuous improvement.
Success in this role requires strong analytical thinking, business acumen, and the ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
This position sits within our Oklahoma City based corporate office, currently with an expectation to be onsite 80% of the time.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Data Analysis: Gather, clean, and analyze data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights. Utilize statistical techniques and data analysis tools to extract meaningful information that supports business objectives
  • Reporting & Visualization: Develop and deliver clear, concise, and informative reports and dashboards using Power BI. Ensure reports are tailored to meet the needs of different stakeholders and provide actionable insights
  • Business Collaboration: Work with business units to understand their requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions. Provide support in defining key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track business performance
  • Insight Generation: Interpret data and provide actionable recommendations to drive business improvements. Communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Trend Analysis: Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies in business intelligence and analytics. Propose and implement enhancements to improve data processes and analytical capabilities
  • Documentation & Training: Create and maintain documentation for BI tools, processes, and methodologies. Provide training and support to end-users to ensure effective use of BI resources

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience will also be considered in lieu of a degree
  • 2+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a related field. Experience with data visualization and reporting tools is essential

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, OR ABILITIES
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker). Familiarity with data analysis and statistical techniques is required
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail. Ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present data findings clearly and effectively to diverse audiences
