Job description

Summary
As an Intelligent Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for leading development and delivery of automation solutions to solve business challenges; ensure and measure solution quality and value and define processes to ensure security and quality.
The ideal candidate has experience across several fields including but not limited to, RPA development practices, software architecture, design/code-reviewing, agile planning, and critical thinking with a good understanding of overall business context and technical risks. This is a highly collaborative role in an emerging space for the organization, so flexibility and communication skills will be key to success in this role.
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for technical design, development, & maintenance of RPA applications & their associated components.
  • Collaborate with business and technical SMEs to define automations, business rules, and exceptions.
  • Analyze process automation requirements and design robotic process automation solutions, architecture, and logic.
  • Develop a comprehensive test suite of automated unit & regression tests for each process.
  • Identify and create reusable automation components.
  • Implement Bot throughput logging, auditing, and exception handling.
  • Support, debug, and correct any issues with Production Bots as part of COE.
  • Develop and maintain documentation Process Definition Documents (PDDs), Software Design Documents (SDDs) for all Bots according to COE standards.
  • Collaborate with business teams to perform regular 'Health Checks' on Production bots/processes.
  • Protect all client and bank information confidentially and follow all company policies.
  • Understand, communicate, and instill the Company's mission, vision, and values (Pillars of Success).
  • Complete monthly training in a timely manner to ensure knowledge of bank regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures.
  • Working at the worksite during regular business hours and/or assigned hours.
  • Other specified duties as assigned.
  • Protect all client and bank information confidentially and follow all company policies.
  • Understand, communicate, and instill the Company's mission, vision, and values (Pillars of Success).
  • Complete monthly training in a timely manner to ensure knowledge of bank regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures.

Compensation & Benefits
The Intelligent Automation Engineer position pays a minimum of $105,000 a year.

Skills
  • Ability to accurately break down complex application designs into component deliverables and estimate development effort & timelines.
  • Strong ability to troubleshoot, identify root-cause and resolve production issues, as reported by the business users.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently, and able to take initiative without always being directed.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and prioritize the most critical tasks and projects.

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, Systems Engineering is required.
  • Minimum 3+ years as a UiPath RPA Developer required.
  • 2+ Experience in object-oriented programming required (C#, C++, VB, Java, or Python preferred).
  • UiPath RPA Developer Advanced Certification is preferred.
  • Extensive experience using UiPath to develop automation solutions is required.
  • End to End bot development experience using UiPath Studio is required.
  • Experience as a solution architect for UiPath process automations is preferred.

Physical Requirements
The work environment is typical of a standard office setting. The position is sedentary, exerting 0 - 10 lbs. of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently. It involves sitting most of the time but may also involve moving about or standing for brief periods of time. Reaching may be required involving the ability to move in any direction. Office equipment, such as a computer and telephone will be used requiring the ability to manipulate a keyboard or keypad. The ability to decipher a computer screen or written documents is necessary. The ability to express or exchange ideas; impart information to clients or to the public; or convey detailed or important instructions is required. The ability to receive detailed information through oral communication is required.
