Job description

Position Title: Associate Attorney
The Associate Attorney will contribute significantly to a dynamic legal team specializing in personal injury litigation. The role involves managing a substantial caseload while ensuring effective communication with clients and colleagues. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality legal services. This position presents challenges that require strong analytical and writing skills, as well as the ability to adapt to various client needs. The firm values collaboration and is dedicated to fostering professional growth among its staff.
Salary Range: $100,000 - $180,000 / Year DOE
Associate Attorney Responsibilities:
  • Handle all aspects of personal injury litigation, including case strategy, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation and execution
  • Represent clients in court, mediation, depositions, and arbitration, advocating effectively at each stage
  • Draft clear and compelling legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements
  • Communicate effectively and frequently with clients, opposing counsel, and courts, including engaging in regular settlement negotiations on behalf of clients
  • Manage caseload independently while collaborating with company attorneys and support staff

Associate Attorney Requirements:
  • 1-4 years of personal injury experience
  • Experience in a high-volume practice is required
  • Strong writing skills, with the ability to review the work of support staff
  • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Barred in California
  • Experience working with remote teams is preferred
  • Depositions (taking and defending) are preferred
  • Trial preparation or trial experience is preferred
