Insurance Litigation Associate Attorney
Location: Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, or San Francisco/Oakland, CA

Direct Counsel is seeking an Insurance Litigation Associate Attorney with 4–8 years of complex litigation experience to join a leading full-service law firm in California. The attorney will work collaboratively with partners and clients, handling sophisticated litigation matters including insurance disputes.

Responsibilities
  • Handle all stages of commercial litigation from inception through trials and appeals.

  • Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, briefs, pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents.

  • Manage discovery, including propounding and responding to document requests, written discovery, and depositions.

  • Collaborate with clients, witnesses, experts, and other counsel throughout litigation.

  • Assist in strategy development and ensure efficient, high-quality client representation.

Salary Range (California law)
  • $280,000 – $380,000, depending on experience and location.

Qualifications
  • 4–8 years of experience in complex, sophisticated litigation.
