Job description

This is a full-time hybrid role for an Associate Attorney at ADAM American Divorce Association for Men in Southfield, MI. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for handling all aspects of divorce, child custody, parenting time, paternity, support, property settlement, post-judgment modifications, and other family law matters.

Compensation:

$115,000 - $180,000 yearly


Responsibilities:
  • Advocate passionately for clients in divorce and family law matters, ensuring their rights are protected at every stage.
  • Prepare and present compelling legal arguments in court, demonstrating a deep understanding of family law.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop strategic legal plans tailored to their unique situations and goals.
  • Negotiate effectively with opposing counsel to reach favorable settlements while maintaining professional integrity.
  • Draft, review, and file legal documents with precision, ensuring compliance with all legal standards and deadlines.
  • Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and stay updated on relevant legal precedents.
  • Guide clients through complex legal processes, providing clear explanations and empathetic support throughout their cases.

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • State Bar of Michigan: Admission in good standing.
  • Divorce and Family Law experience.
  • Research and persuasive negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet multiple deadlines.
