Position Overview

Molaprise is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Associate to support day-to-day accounting and financial operations. The ideal candidate will assist with accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, reporting, payroll support, and compliance activities while working closely with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely.

Assist with maintaining general ledger records and preparing journal entries.

Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.

Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and balance sheet accounts.

Assist in preparing financial reports, spreadsheets, and supporting documentation.

Support payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements.

Maintain organized financial records and documentation for audits and compliance purposes.

Assist with preparing and filing 1099s, sales tax filings, and other financial compliance reports.

Work with internal teams to track invoices, payments, and project-related expenses.

Help improve accounting processes and maintain accurate financial data in accounting systems.

Respond to vendor and internal finance-related inquiries in a professional manner.

Support external audits by gathering requested financial documentation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

5+ years of accounting experience supporting day-to-day financial operations.

Strong understanding of GAAP, accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and financial reporting processes.

Experience assisting with month-end and year-end close activities.

Proficiency in accounting systems such as Dynamics 365 or similar ERP/accounting software.

Strong Microsoft Excel and data entry skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
