Accounting Team Member

Lone Star Management / Jake’s Fireworks
Location: Corporate Headquarters – Pittsburg, Kansas
Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Travel: Occasional travel required during peak business season


Position Summary

Lone Star Management and Jake’s Fireworks are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Accounting Team Member to join our Corporate Accounting Department at our Pittsburg, Kansas headquarters.

This position supports daily accounting operations across multiple company divisions and locations nationwide. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, accuracy, confidentiality, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, particularly during seasonal peak operations.


Key Responsibilities
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions

  • Enter invoices, expenses, and financial data into accounting systems

  • Assist with account reconciliations and financial record maintenance

  • Review purchase orders, vendor statements, and billing documentation

  • Support payroll and expense reporting processes as assigned

  • Maintain organized financial files and documentation

  • Assist with month-end and year-end accounting procedures

  • Communicate with vendors, managers, and internal departments regarding accounting matters

  • Provide administrative and clerical support to the accounting team

  • Travel periodically to company locations during busy season to assist with financial operations


Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Associate degree or coursework in Accounting, Business, or Finance preferred
