Job description

Fellowship Square is seeking an experienced and missiondriven Executive Director of Assisted Living to provide executive leadership for the Assisted Living department at our Tucson campus. This key leadership role is responsible for departmental operations, care delivery, regulatory compliance, and staff leadership, while ensuring residents receive highquality services in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment.

Position Overview

The Executive Director of Assisted Living oversees the daytoday operations of the Assisted Living department and serves as a member of the campus leadership team. This role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, leads and develops staff, manages departmental resources, and promotes a culture of service excellence, accountability, and teamwork.


What You’ll Do

  • Provide operational and strategic leadership for our 66-bed Assisted Living department
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, licensure standards, and resident rights
  • Lead, mentor, and oversee staff
  • Oversee staffing, scheduling, and workforce planning to support quality care and operational efficiency
  • Manage departmental budgets and monitor financial performance
  • Partner with residents and families to support satisfaction and address concerns
  • Collaborate with Sales, and Experience teams to support occupancy and resident engagement
  • Promote a culture of dignity, respect, hospitality, and accountability
  • Respond to operational needs and emergencies as required

What We’re Looking For

  • Valid Assisted Living Facility Manager License issued and recognized by the State of Arizona (required).
  • Minimum of five (5) years of leadership experience in assisted living, longterm care, or a related healthcare setting
  • LPN license preferred, but not required
  • Strong knowledge of assisted living operations, regulatory compliance, and medication management
  • Proven leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

  • Experience in a nonprofit or missiondriven organization
  • Budget management and financial oversight experience
  • Quality improvement and change management experience
  • Demonstrated commitment to resident-centered care and quality outcomes
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced care environment
