The position oversees the development of advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI-driven capabilities that support strategic business objectives while driving innovation across the organization. The Vice President will lead a multidisciplinary team of product managers, product owners, data analysts, and data scientists responsible for the design, development, deployment, and governance of data science solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise priorities and measurable business outcomes. The role partners closely with business, actuarial, underwriting, claims, technology, and data leaders to identify opportunities, build business cases, champion change management, and deliver high-impact analytical solutions. In addition, this position serves as the leader for Actuarial Data Product Management, establishing the vision, roadmap, and lifecycle management practices for critical actuarial data assets. The successful candidate will drive modernization efforts, prioritize investments, and ensure actuarial data products meet the evolving needs of actuarial and business stakeholders.**JOB DESCRIPTION:****Essential Duties & Responsibilities***Performs a combination of duties in accordance with departmental guidelines:** Drives implementation of strategic and operational objectives with significant impact on the short-term success of data modeling for a product line(s) or segment(s) and moderate impact on the long-term success of the company.* Leads, directs and has full management responsibility for staff in areas of responsibility with an emphasis on talent management and succession planning in accordance with corporate strategic direction.* Collaborates with business partners in Actuarial, Claims, Underwriting and other internal departments to ensure the achievement of continued profitability and/or growth objectives for product lines or segments.* Drives the development, implementation and continuous planning, organizing and leading data modeling programs/initiatives, metrics, processes and results.* Acts as a liaison to executive management on critical business issues and drives corporate priorities with product lines or segments.* Identifies and responds to emerging issues in the insurance, regulatory and legal climates. Partners with appropriate leadership to determine course of action and develops and executes plans to meet objectives. Provides support during business strategy planning process.* Fosters innovation and empowers others to take calculated risks and continuously improve skills, efficiency and quality of work.* Creates a culture of ownership and accountability to drive continuous improvement.* Remains current on state/territory issues and regulations, industry activity and trends.
