Position: Medical Assistant
Location: Madison, WI
Duration: 13 week
Pay scale: $1800/wk
Shift: Days 40hrs/week


Responsibilities:

  • Assist healthcare professionals in clinical and administrative tasks to ensure efficient patient care.
  • Record and update patient medical histories, vital signs, and other relevant information.
  • Prepare and sterilize medical instruments, assist with examinations, and provide patient education.
  • Perform basic laboratory tests, collect specimens, and manage medical records.
  • Schedule appointments, handle administrative tasks, and manage patient communications.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in clinical areas, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment.

Requirements:

  • Completion of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent training.
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
