We are seeking a Wind Operations Supervisor to join our dedicated team!
Main Purpose:
The Wind Operations Supervisor provides daily support to technicians within the renewables service division and plays a key role in project execution, team leadership, and customer interface.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the main point of contact for technicians and contractors, providing daily operational support.
  • Ensure accurate master data in onboard tracker, including certificate validation.
  • Conduct onboarding for new independent contractors, demonstrating fluency in company policies and systems.
  • Assist with new project kick-offs, including travel to work sites for kick off meetings.
  • Collaborate with Recruiting/HR, Training, and Travel departments.
  • Participate in candidate interviews and help build a team of wind turbine professionals.
  • Interface with customers on-site to understand expectations and provide technical support.
  • Communicate internal updates regarding company policies and news.
  • Support field technicians and resolve administrative or operational issues.
  • Promote and maintain a strong safety culture aligned with industry standards.
  • Travel nationally up to 50% to support project goals.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing people, preferably in a field operations or technical environment.
  • Proven experience in the wind industry, with at least 5 years of wind turbine field work.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively support and lead field teams.
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Skilled in database management and record keeping.
  • Commitment to safety and environmental compliance.
  • Candidates must currently reside in the Houston area.
