Job description

We are looking for an energetic, dependable, and motivated Fitness Assistant / Trainer to join The GR8S Fitness team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys fitness, helping others, and creating a positive and welcoming gym environment.

Job details
  • Assist with leading group fitness classes, bootcamps, and training sessions.
  • Provide safe and effective exercise instruction to members.
  • Demonstrate proper exercise techniques and equipment use.
  • Assist trainers with setting up and breaking down workout stations.
  • Encourage, motivate, and engage members throughout their workouts.
  • Monitor members during exercises and help maintain a safe training environment.
  • Help keep workout areas, equipment, and common areas clean and organized.
  • Re-rack weights and return equipment to its proper location.
  • Welcome members and provide excellent customer service.
  • Assist with member check-ins and basic front-desk responsibilities when needed.
  • Help promote gym programs, memberships, classes, events, and services.
  • Support special events, fitness challenges, community workouts, and other GR8S Fitness activities.
  • Follow all gym policies, safety procedures, and staff expectations.
  • Work collaboratively with management, trainers, and other team members.
Qualifications
  • Passion for health, fitness, and helping others.
  • Positive, professional, and energetic attitude.
  • Dependable and punctual.
  • Strong communication and customer-service skills.
  • Comfortable working with individuals of different fitness levels.
