ASSISTANT TRACK COACH
COLUMBIA HIGH SCHOOL
SPRING SESSION 2026
THE POSITION
The candidate must have a sincere interest and desire to put forth the maximum effort into his/her coaching responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
1. New Jersey Instructional Certificate or Substitute Certification with Athletic Endorsement preferred.
2. Will be directly responsible to the Director of Athletics and Student Activities and school administration for the satisfactory performance of all coaching responsibilities.
3. Must have at least two years of experience as a track coach.
4. Will assume full responsibility for supervision and conduct of all team members while under his/her jurisdiction and for conducting necessary practice sessions./
5. Is expected to assume full-coaching responsibilities at all scheduled meets.
6. Will assume the responsibility of supervising and administering the programs during the sessions and issuing and handling of all necessary equipment.
7.Demonstrated knowledge in this area.
8.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
9. Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident/immigrant status.
