Job description

Position Purpose:
This part-time role reports to the Executive Assistant and requires living near Woodland Park, CO, with onsite work. Occasional evening and weekend hours may be required. The Administrative Assistant's responsibilities vary based on organizational needs and include ensuring tasks and projects are completed efficiently, confidentially, accurately, and positively.
Essential Duties:
  • Handle confidential information.
  • Open, sort, and distribute incoming correspondence, including mail and emails.
  • Meeting management, including preparing agendas, administering digital meeting rooms, printing reports, taking notes, distributing action items, and arranging catering.
  • Varying personal tasks including, but not limited to, booking appointments, running errands, and ordering gifts/flowers, etc.
  • Maintain and manage paper and electronic filing systems.
  • Coordinate maintenance of office equipment.
  • Maintain and organize records both electronic and hard copy.
  • Assist in special projects as requested to achieve overall Ministry objectives.
  • Resolve administrative problems and inquiries.
  • Prepare agendas for meetings and prepare schedules.
  • Assist with travel arrangements.
  • Ensure the office is restocked with snacks, drinks, and office supplies.
  • Assist with charge approvals, invoice entry, and check runs.
  • Other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

  • A Charis Bible College student or graduate is preferred.
  • Must pass all required checks.

Experience:
  • Minimum experience of 1-2 years in an administrative role or equivalent.
  • Compensation is commensurate with experience.
