Position Overview

Autodesk is seeking an exceptional technology leader for the role ofProgram Director - Sales Technology Delivery.Operating as a top-tier Individual Contributor, you will be responsible for Autodesk's Sales Technology Portfolio, leading the end-to-end integrated delivery of complex, high-impact technology programs that power our global sales force and commercial engine.

In this role, you will bridge strategic business objectives with tactical execution-partnering closely with Global Strategy & Operations (GS&O), Sales business leadership, GET leadership, enterprise architects and matrixed delivery teams. You will drive program execution across both major enterprises packaged platforms and custom software solutions, ensuring rigorous methodology, proactive risk mitigation, and timely technology deployment.

Responsibilities

Portfolio Ownership & Strategic Governance

  • Strategic Accountability:Serve as the primary point of contact for the Sales Technology Portfolio, continuously evaluating portfolio health, alignment with business objectives, and business value realization

  • Senior Stakeholder Alignment:Partner with senior business and technology leadership to translate overarching strategies into technology roadmaps, clear delivery commitments, and actionable execution plans

  • Progress Tracking & Executive Reporting:Maintain comprehensive oversight of all initiatives across the portfolio, providing regular, accurate status visibility, executive dashboards, and risk assessments to senior leadership

  • Process Enhancement:Drive continuous improvement across project delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) and governance frameworks to elevate execution standards across Technology delivery office

Integrated Program Delivery & Technical Oversight

  • End-to-End Delivery Leadership:Direct the integrated delivery of large-scale, multi-track technology programs across the Sales ecosystem (including CRM, CPQ, Partner Portals, Compensation, Revenue Analytics, and custom applications), ensuring all commitments are met as agreed

  • Technical Solution & Architectural Oversight:Partner with architecture and engineering leads to evaluate technical designs, dependencies, and integrationpatterns-ensuring delivery aligns with enterprise architecture standards and long-term scalability

  • Quality Assurance & Deployment Readiness:Ensure all program deliverables across packaged implementations and custom builds adhere to strict quality standards and rigorous testing prior to deployment

Matrixed Leadership & Delivery Facilitation

  • Cross-Functional Leadership:Guide and mentor matrixed Program Managers, Technical Program Managers, platform leads, and third-party implementation partners to drive high-velocity, synchronized execution

  • Proactive Risk & Escalation Management:Act as the primary point of escalation for delivery friction points. Identify dependencies early, build robust mitigation strategies, and swiftly resolve systemic impediments

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience:15+ years of progressive project and program management experience directing complex enterprise technology programs, with a proven track record of managing Sales/GTM technology portfolios

  • Technical & Platform Mastery:Deep technical understanding and hands-on delivery experience with major packaged enterprise applications (e.g., Salesforce Enterprise, Revenue Cloud, CPQ, SAP, large-scale eCommerce) as well as custom/homegrown software application development

  • Methodology Expertise:Expert command of modern software delivery methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall, Hybrid frameworks) and delivery tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project)

  • Individual Contributor Leadership (P6 Level):Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams through indirect authority, matrix management, and technical credibility

  • Executive Communication & Influence:Outstanding presentation skills with a track record of translating complex technical issues into strategic imperatives for senior leadership

  • Education & Credentials:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field (Master's preferred). PMP, CSM, or equivalent certifications preferred

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $182,000 and $326,700. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
