Job Summary The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and improving day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency, high-quality client services, and meaningful social impact. This role executes the companys strategic goals by developing and implementing operational strategies, managing multiple departments, overseeing budgets, and leading teams while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Supervisory ResponsibilitiesParticipate in the hiring, training, and development of departmental managers
Organize, oversee, and support departmental workflows and schedules
Conduct timely and constructive performance evaluations
Address employee discipline and terminations in accordance with company policy
Implement the CEOs vision and strategic objectives at an operational level
Lead, mentor, and train the management team
Develop strategies for recruiting, training, and retaining high-performing staff
Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesEstablish and monitor quantitative and qualitative performance metrics (KPIs)
Analyze and improve business processes and operational procedures
Implement policies and procedures to improve daily operations
Ensure safe, adequate, and compliant work environments
Oversee multiple departments and ensure alignment with CEO-established goals
Communicate new directives, policies, and procedures clearly to leadership and staff
Improve customer satisfaction through operational enhancements
Coordinate efforts across business office, clinical, and case management teams
Promote a positive organizational image internally and externally
Manage operational budgets and ensure fiscal accountability
Collaborate with leadership to ensure smooth workflows and alignment
Required Skills and AbilitiesStrong understanding of business, finance, and operational practices
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Proven leadership, diplomacy, and people-management abilities
Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and operational software
Experience with databases and project management tools
Tech-savvy, with comfort using digital tools and emerging technologies
Education and ExperienceBachelors degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred
Minimum of 35 years of operations or division leadership experience
Experience managing processes, workflows, and cross functional teams
Experience in a fast growing or high change environment preferred
Strong project management experience
Demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive results
Experience interpreting financial data and managing budgets
Physical RequirementsProlonged periods of sitting and working on a computer or driving in a car
Regular use of phone, email, and video conferencing tools
Ability to lift up to 15 pounds as needed
