Job description

Position Overview:

MXR Imaging, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Paralegal to support our General Counsel across a variety of practice areas. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously, and a willingness to take on both substantive legal work and administrative responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, analyze, and assist in drafting legal documents and contracts
  • Conduct contract review to identify key terms, risks, and business needs
  • Assist with matters involving bankruptcy, including preparation and review of proof of claim filings and related documentation
  • Perform title-related work for company vehicles, including drafting applications and monthly visits to the DMV.
  • Support collections efforts, including preparing correspondence, working with the collections team by tracking accounts, and assisting with enforcement actions
  • Maintain and organize case files (physical and electronic), ensuring accuracy and accessibility
  • Monitor litigation status, conduct document review, track deadlines, and organize file for upcoming proceedings.
  • Provide general administrative support to the General Counsel and staff as needed

Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree (Paralegal Certificate preferred)
  • Notary Public (Preferred)
  • Prior experience in a law firm or legal environment preferred
  • Familiarity with bankruptcy proceedings and/or title work is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and West Law.
  • Worker's Compensation Experience (plus)
