Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Telecom & Internet Analyst to oversee our colocation footprint and strategic vendor relationships. You will serve as the primary point of contact for our data center partners (e.g., Cologix, Equinix, CyrusOne, DataBank) and be responsible for managing network infrastructure projects, optimizing cross-connect deployments, and ensuring adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Responsibilities
  • Partner Management: Act as the primary relationship manager for neutral-host data centers and carrier partners. Drive regular business reviews to ensure service delivery performance meets company standards. 
  • Interconnection Strategy: Manage the provisioning and lifecycle of cross-connects, fiber builds, and cabling projects within colocation facilities. Portal management to place orders. Submit and track Letters of Authorization (LOAs) and Connecting Facility Assignments (CFAs). Coordinate with "Remote Hands" requests. 
  • Commercial & Procurement: Assist in negotiating and renewing Master Service Agreements (MSAs) and Statements of Work (SOWs) for rack space, power, and bandwidth capacity.
  • Capacity Planning: Coordinate with Network Engineering to assess growth requirements, plan for cage/cabinet expansions, and optimize power/cooling availability in existing facilities. Maintain an accurate database of circuit IDs and port assignments.
  • Operational Escalations: Serve as the technical and administrative escalation point for any carrier or data center-related outages, service degradation, or maintenance windows.
  • Billing & Compliance: Oversee monthly auditing of carrier/vendor invoices against contracted terms and internal usage logs to ensure billing accuracy.
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience in the telecommunications or ISP industry, specifically within Carrier Relations & Colocation.
  • Deep understanding of the data center ecosystem, including experience working with large-scale providers (e.g., Equinix, Cologix, Digital Realty, DataBank).
  • Strong technical literacy regarding fiber optics, cross-connect methodologies, IP transit, and typical data center physical infrastructure.
  • Proven ability to manage complex procurement cycles and vendor contract negotiations.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to balance multiple site deployments and operational escalations simultaneously.

Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in New York is $64,260.00 - $105,570.00 / year. 

The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in Texas is $53,550.00 - $87,975.00 / year. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in North Carolina is $45,518.00 - $74,779.00 / year. For other locations, please inquire with your recruiter. The rates/ranges provided herein are the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and do not reflect future job opportunity.
