Location: Lubbock, TX

We are seeking an experienced Technical Solutions Manager to serve as the primary technical resource and strategic advisor for our existing clients. This role combines deep mechanical and building systems expertise with strong relationship management skills to identify opportunities, develop solutions, and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will have a background in service operations, project management, facilities management, or mechanical construction and possess the ability to bridge the gap between technical execution and client business objectives. You will work closely with clients, operations teams, and leadership to develop project solutions that drive long-term partnerships and continued growth.
Key ResponsibilitiesClient Relationship Management
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and primary technical resource for existing clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with facility managers, property managers, owners, and key decision-makers.
  • Identify opportunities to improve facility performance, reduce operating costs, and support client objectives.
  • Partner with Client Success and Operations teams to uncover and develop new project opportunities.
  • Maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified project opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and solution reviews to strengthen partnerships and drive business growth.
Technical Solutions & Project Development
  • Evaluate client needs and develop customized mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and facility improvement solutions.
  • Conduct site assessments and facility evaluations to identify project opportunities.
  • Develop scopes of work, conceptual budgets, and project recommendations.
  • Prepare and present technical proposals, project estimates, and value-driven solutions.
  • Collaborate with engineering, estimating, and operations teams to ensure solutions are practical, executable, and aligned with client goals.
  • Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation to support solution development.
Strategic Planning & Operations Coordination
  • Coordinate closely with operations leadership to align project opportunities with available resources and workforce capacity.
  • Support forecasting, planning, and prioritization efforts to maximize operational efficiency and client satisfaction.
  • Assist in developing strategic account plans and long-term facility improvement roadmaps.
  • Ensure seamless transition of projects from development through execution.
Industry Expertise & Client Advocacy
  • Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, energy efficiency initiatives, and best practices.
  • Provide clients with proactive recommendations that create value beyond individual projects.
  • Support clients throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring expectations are met and opportunities for continuous improvement are identified.
  • Act as the voice of the customer within the organization and advocate for exceptional service delivery.
Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in mechanical construction, building systems, facilities management, HVAC service, or related technical industries.
  • Prior experience as a Service Manager, Operations Manager, Project Manager, Account Manager, or Technical Solutions professional.
  • Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, and building systems.
  • Proven experience developing project scopes, budgets, estimates, and customer solutions.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
  • Knowledge of local building codes, industry regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to identify opportunities and develop client-focused solutions.
  • Experience utilizing estimating software, CRM platforms, and project management tools.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting healthcare, commercial, industrial, education, or mission-critical facilities.
  • Background in mechanical contracting, HVAC service, facilities operations, or building automation systems.
  • Experience developing capital improvement projects and facility modernization initiatives.
  • Existing relationships within the commercial facilities and construction market.
