Job Summary:

The Technical Specialist is a regionally assigned technical resource focused on LED technology in event areas such as Tradeshows, General Sessions, and other event environments. This role ensures technical excellence and operational efficiency across regional events and serves as a developmental pathway toward Project Management.

What You will Do:

  • Operate independently in a specialized technical area after completing internal certifications and field validation.
  • Support the sales team by preparing accurate and technically sound proposals within their area of expertise.
  • Provide on-site technical execution for events, ensuring quality and consistency across deliverables.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Technical Leads, and fulfillment branches to align technical execution with event goals.
  • Assist with event logistics including labor coordination, equipment packaging, rentals, and freight services.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve AV and IT-related issues during setup and execution.
  • Maintain open communication with Account Executives and Project Management staff.
  • Occasionally fill other roles as needed, maintaining flexibility while prioritizing their core specialty.
  • Contribute to regional KPIs including proposal turnaround, personnel utilization, customer satisfaction, and event profitability.
  • Participate in cross-regional knowledge sharing and best practice alignment.

What You Bring:


Must Haves:


  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the event industry, including hands-on project execution.
  • Strong background in area of LED Technology.
  • Proficiency in configuring, networking, and troubleshooting computers, printers, and related hardware.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive under pressure.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Technically savvy with MS Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel, and cloud-based applications.
  • Expect to travel regionally and occasionally support other regions (up to 70%) (Approx 20-25 events)


Nice to Haves:


  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Management and/or AV Rental Industry experience.
  • Specialized knowledge in AV applications, i.e., LED walls, Audio, Video, with appropriate certifications as appropriate
