The Goddard School® of Friendswood is hiring caring, energetic Lead and Assistant Teachers to join our growing team. If you love working with young children and want a supportive, family-focused environment with a consistent weekday schedule, we'd love to meet you.
What You'll Do
  • Create a warm, engaging, and safe classroom environment
  • Support hands-on learning, social-emotional development, and age-appropriate skills
  • Guide children through daily routines with patience and positivity
  • Communicate daily with families
  • Maintain a clean, organized classroom
  • Collaborate with co-teachers and leadership

Lead Teachers also take the lead on lesson planning, classroom organization, and developmental observations.
Assistant Teachers support lesson implementation, help maintain an organized classroom environment, and assist with developmental observations.
What You Bring
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience working with young children (preferred but not required for Assistants)
  • CPR/First Aid or willingness to obtain
  • Reliable, positive, and team-oriented

Preferred: CDA or degree in Early Childhood, experience in licensed childcare
