Job description

We are seeking Teachers to join our organization! This individual will plan and present age-appropriate activities for children.

The position of an assistant teacher is an important role in the early childhood environment as a teaching
is a team effort. The assistant teacher will work alongside the lead teacher to implement a variety of
daily activities, which include observing, supervising, and educating children, organizational duties, and
optimizing the learning and play environment while also meeting the child care health and safety
standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Instruct infant, toddler, and preschool-aged children in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth
  • Create a fun and safe learning environment.
  • Develop schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and exploration.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and coworkers.
  • Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress.
  • Maintain the health and safety of all families and centers.

Qualifications:

Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or process

Preschool or Infant, Toddler CDA

  • Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields.
  • Passionate about working with children.
  • Ability to build rapport with children, families, and peers.
  • Positive and patient demeanor.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
