We are committed to excellence in surveying services and are seeking an experienced and results-driven Survey Project Manager to lead and oversee survey projects from initiation to completion.

Position Overview:

As a Survey Project Manager based out of our Rutherford, NJ office, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing survey projects to meet client requirements and deliver high-quality results. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in land surveying, excellent project management skills, and the ability to lead a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee survey projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budget constraints.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and expectations.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and communicate these to the surveying team.
  • Lead and coordinate survey teams, including Survey Party Chiefs, CAD Technicians, and Technicians, to achieve project goals.
  • Monitor and ensure the quality and accuracy of survey data collected in the field.
  • Review and approve survey deliverables, including plats, maps, and drawings.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients to provide project updates and address any concerns.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and construction, to ensure seamless project integration.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and training to surveying team members.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in surveying, civil engineering, or a related field; professional surveying license (PLS) is a plus.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in land surveying
  • Strong understanding of surveying principles, methodologies, and techniques.
