Job description

Purpose within the Organization:
The purpose of this position is to provide all the technical needs for the Grand Canyon University Worship Team. This is to support the Chapel and Gathering events put on by Spiritual Life.
Responsibilities Related to Purpose:
  • Setup Chapel Services (Drums, In-Ear Monitors, Mics, and Cabling).
  • Setup Audio For Gathering Services.
  • Setup Lighting for Gathering Services.
  • Setup Video for Gathering Services.
  • Assist the Worship Team with setting up and tearing down equipment.
  • Prepare Computer for Gathering and Chapel Services.

Qualifications:
  • Must have a high level of technical skill in the areas of audio, video, and lighting.
  • Must be able to work with a band.
  • Know how to set up a sound system and musical equipment.
  • Must have good communication skills.
  • Be willing to work well in a team environment.
  • Must be able to lift heavy equipment.

Grand Canyon University is committed to a student first policy.
Therefore, all applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements to be considered for student employment:
  • Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a Bachelor's program or Master's program.
  • Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student.
  • Maintain good financial and academic (SAP) standing with the University.

You may be subject to termination if you fall below the minimum requirements.
