Speech-Language Pathologist

Holyoke Medical Center is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to join our inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation team. This position primarily serves adult patients with acquired communication disorders, cognitive-linguistic impairments, and swallowing disorders. A smaller portion of the caseload may include pediatric patients with speech and language needs. Holyoke Medical Center, an acute care community hospital in Western Massachusetts, offers a dynamic approach to healthcare in a modern, progressive environment. Outpatient services include treating children through aged populations with communication, memory, and swallowing disorders. Requirements: Master’s Degree in Speech/Language Pathology with Certificate of Clinical Competency; current license or license eligible in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Speech/Language Pathologist; we will accept applicants for their Clinical Fellowship Year; certified or certification eligible by American Speech, Language and Hearing Association; current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation; above average communication and interpersonal skills; experience with Modified Barium Swallow Studies and therapy preferred.
