Our client is a well-established company specializing in children's apparel, with a strong focus on product quality, vendor partnerships, and global sourcing operations. They are looking to add a Sourcing Manager/Director to their team.
Salary/Hourly Rate
$150k - $175k DOE
Position Overview
Our client is seeking a Sourcing Manager/Director to lead sourcing initiatives for a growing children's apparel business. This individual will be responsible for managing global vendor relationships, driving costing and margin initiatives, identifying sourcing opportunities, and partnering cross-functionally with design, production, product development, and merchandising teams. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in children's apparel sourcing, a deep understanding of factory management, and the ability to balance quality, cost, and speed-to-market objectives.
Responsibilities Of The Sourcing Manager/Director
  • Manage global sourcing activities across children's apparel categories.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with factories, vendors, mills, and supply chain partners.
  • Lead cost negotiations and identify opportunities for margin improvement.
  • Evaluate vendor performance, capacity, quality, and compliance standards.
  • Partner with the Product Development, Production, Design, and Merchandising teams throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Monitor market conditions and sourcing trends to identify new supplier opportunities and mitigate risk.
  • Support production timelines and ensure vendors meet delivery expectations.
  • Assist in developing sourcing strategies that support business growth and operational efficiency.
