Job description

Position Title: Service Advisor (Client Service Associate)
The Service Advisor plays a vital role in managing client relationships and ensuring their needs are met effectively. This position involves daily interactions with clients, assisting in the opening and maintenance of accounts, and serving as a primary contact for account-related inquiries. The advisor must navigate a high-volume environment while delivering exceptional service and accuracy. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals in wealth management, contributing to a dynamic team culture focused on excellence.
Service Advisor Responsibilities:
  • Schedule and prepare for client review meetings
  • Initiate and field client service calls
  • Collaborate with custodians and insurance carriers to process client service requests
  • Prepare and process necessary paperwork for client service requests
  • Manage the onboarding process for advisory accounts, financial plans, insurance policies, and annuity policies
  • Oversee the underwriting process for new insurance policies
  • Utilize a paperless filing system
  • Document actions using the company's CRM system
  • Maintain client accounts by updating and managing client data
  • Assist clients with login requests and monitor custodian alerts
  • Resolve client service-related issues as needed
  • Support special projects as required

Service Advisor Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of experience in an RIA or firm with clients having a net worth of 10-250 million dollars or an income of at least 500k yearly
  • Familiarity with life insurance concepts is a significant advantage
  • Ability to open and fund accounts from various registrations
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or related experience
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM and portfolio management software is preferred
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities in a high-touch environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with others
  • Experience working within the Schwab system is preferred
