Job description

We’re a highly regarded property in our area looking for a motivated, organized, and dependable team member to join our Housekeeping Department as a Full-Time Housekeeping Assistant / Room Attendant. This is a hybrid position, with approximately 2 days per week supporting the Housekeeping Supervisor and assisting with housekeeping operations, and 3 days per week working as a Room Attendant.

Responsibilities will include assisting with daily housekeeping operations, helping maintain cleanliness and quality standards, making beds, vacuuming and mopping, restocking guest amenities, changing linens, and completing other general housekeeping duties. Compensation:

$16 - $18 hourly


Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Housekeeping Supervisor with daily housekeeping operations and maintaining hotel cleanliness standards

  • Assist with room assignments, inspections, supplies, and other housekeeping tasks as needed

  • Clean and arrange hotel rooms according to hotel standards prior to guest arrival

  • Vacuum, mop, make beds, dust and polish furniture, restock guest amenities, and complete laundry as needed

  • Document rooms cleaned and report lost and found items, damage, or repairs needed

  • Respond to general guest questions and requests during their stay

  • Maintain cleanliness of common areas such as hallways, public restrooms, and the hotel lobby


Qualifications:
  • Hard worker with strong time management, organizational, and communication skills
  • High school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent
  • Good understanding of cleaning techniques and products
  • Previous housekeeping experience preferred
