Job description

Senior Plaintiff-Side Employment Litigation / PAGA Attorney

  • Location: Agoura Hills / Westlake Village, CA
  • Compensation: $180,000–$230,000+ depending on experience
  • Work Arrangement: In-office preferred | Hybrid available | Remote considered for senior attorneys

A plaintiff-side litigation practice is seeking a senior employment litigator to support its growing wage and hour and representative action practice.

The position centers on wage and hour class actions and PAGA matters and offers broad litigation exposure rather than narrow departmental assignments. Attorneys participate in substantive litigation work across the case lifecycle and may gain exposure to additional litigation matters over time based on experience and firm needs.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Handle wage and hour class actions and representative matters through all phases of litigation
  • Conduct depositions involving PMKs, experts, managers, HR personnel, and witnesses
  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery filings, mediation materials, and settlement documents
  • Address representative discovery and procedural litigation issues
  • Prepare cases for mediation and settlement strategy discussions
  • Conduct damage analyses and litigation evaluations
  • Assist with supervision and mentoring responsibilities

Candidate Profile

  • Approximately 8–12+ years of litigation experience preferred
  • California employment litigation background required
  • Experience with wage and hour, PAGA, class action, or representative matters required
  • Strong discovery and deposition experience required
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • Active California Bar membership required
  • ABA-accredited law school graduate required
